S.O.S pets is an animal adoption organization with the sole purpose of helping animals find a warm and a loving home.
OVERVIEW
S.O.S Pets is a pet adoption organization. The organization's website was made to spread the knowledge about pets who are in need of a warm home to take them in. As well as facilitate the adoption process for people are interested.
I first came upon the website when I was casually going through random pet adoption websites as I was dabbling with the idea of adopting a cat. Even though the website is full of useful information, the design of the website takes away from the website's usefulness and prevents it from reaching its full potential as it is chaotic and disorganized.

The website has a lot of useful information but the layout and design of the website has multiple flaws, firstly the elements' hierarchy and display is mismatched as well as the outdated look and feel of the website.
Secondly, the amount of information displayed for the user as soon as they log into the page even though useful can get the user overwhelmed and prolong the process and minimize the adoption possibility.
Fixing the design and making it more user-friendly will help the organization reach through to more people.
THE SOLUTION
The redesign of the website will be targeting those problematic sides of the current website, which by changing will help the user insert back their trust and reliability in the organization's cause and goal, which might have been detoured due to the website's UI.
Even though this is a redesign, a user research will still be conducted in order to achieve optimal results in the redesign.

In the survey, the participants were asked questions to help determent which elements and topics are most important to people who are interested in adopting.
So the questions took the information that is displayed on the existing website and focused on prioritizing them. Which is most important and which do not matter to them at all and can be taken off the page, and consequently making it less overwhelming for the users
